I just stop thinking about what he could of done with Carrie’s car and why it’s never been found then I watched this other case where the sicko buried a little car similar under ground lic plate lil miss underground can u believe it with equipment and no one seen a thing so anything is possible also being his family owned a junk yard has it been investigated whether he had connections in the business of scrapping metal or he could have have all his cars been checked to make sure one was not broken down or painted over ect what about bodies of water located in all directions that would take the time that was said him and his brother were gone given that statement was true I just pray she’ll be found to let her mother have peace knowing she found her little girl you can’t give up we have to find carrie and all the missing God we need your help ur n my prayers Stephanie Cox from fredericksburg va

I don’t know this family either but I remember the case when it came across the news. Crystal’s name and face looked so familiar to me. I live in Gaston County but I think Ive seen her before. Has she always lived in Concord or did she ever have any contacts down this way? I pray she is found safe. This is such a sad story. I will keep all the family in my thoughts and prayers.

I’m in the UK and just saw a TV programme about this. Very worrying. This ex-deputy is clearly involved. It’s a scandal that there is not more focus on this in the news. If the missing were white and female in the same circumstances, media pressure alone would have forced the police into moving for at least a search on Calkins’s home and probably an arrest of Calkin, whatever they had to do to get there. It’s an absolute disgrace, America should cry out in anger about this.
