I just watched a summary on “Investigation Discovery” of the missing person Jarrod Johnson case. I don’t have any information, but I feel the pain of Jarrod’s Father, Stepmother and sister. I want to help this family; please tell me what I can do!

  2. Michelle says:

That young man they thought was jerrod on the investigation discovery did they do a DNA test because he disappeared at 18 without Id and unless he or the unknown man had their prints taken before .jerrod could have obtained id in that young mans name and was arrested after so are they sure. Sorry this isn’t a tip just my curiosity.

  4. Im watching your show right now. I live in utica ny and there are many men that look like him here I would contact every city hes been including new york city you can buy identification cards, social security cards and birth certificates off the street. My friend has done it before. You might wanna check there.

I watched Disappeared, and I feel that Jarrod’s parents should go see the man that authorities say is named Nathaniel. They need to look into his eyes and look at his teeth and birthmark and every other part of his body. Listen to his voice and his laugh. Watch his mannerisms. These things don’t change and they are very distinguishable. So are his memories of tomatoes. They need to spend some time with this young man, hear what he does remember, just watch him and listen to him while he talks. I raised four children and one of my sons died at the age of 19. If they have any chance that this could be there son, and they could hold him in their arms again, they should do this. I feel God had me see this show, to encourage Jarrod’s family to do this. May God be with them!

  6. callie says:

They used fingerprints to rule out Nathaniel, I believe, but I would request DNA testing if I were the family. So many similarities between Nathaniel and Jarrod.

  7. wendy barnes says:

It still bothers me that the lady in Atlanta finds a guy who can’t remember much and says he was hit by a car. Why was a 911 call or an ER stop not first on the list? He could have been ruled out as JJ much earlier.

  8. Cindy main says:

My heart and prayers for this family. I thought if he had gone into the jewelry store to purchase a ring.. where did he get the credit card. If it was in December then why couldn’t they look at the merchant statements to see what credit cards declined and narrow it down to the approx. time the salesperson ran the card.. They can find out who’s name was on that credit cars. He left wallet with his girlfriend so I don’t understand how he got a credit card. Also he likes the guitar. people who dream of becoming famous go to Nashville La and N.Y.City, Atlanta. I will post Jarrods profile on my wall and on google plus. God Bless.

I just saw the apisode of Disappeared on Discovery about Jarrod. Any recent updates??
Although I’m from Belgium, and I’m sure there isn’t much I can do, I see a lot of hope on missing persons blogs and social media. It’s hard not to feel discouraged after so much time, but then I think to myself, what if it happened to me, and what if I lost hope, stopped searching just one day too early, what if the next person I met was the one person to help.. Never lose hope. Someone out there knows what happened. My thoughts are with the family.

  11. Sarah says:

  12. Tim Lawless says:

  14. cyndy says:

I just watched Jarrods episode. Something about Jerrod broke my heart more then the others. Jerrod looks like he could be my sons twin. He was also born on the same month, day, & year. My heart goes out to his family. I will pray for you & Jarrod, don’t give up hope.

  15. Milton Johnston says:

Jarrod is my nephew. Thank you all for your best wishes. As far as Nathaniel was concerned, I did go and check. It wasn’t Jarrod. There are a few things that bother me about this whole case. The yazoo cops first off. The step grandmother second. Some things are not adding up to me.

  16. Andrew says:

has anyone checked out the homeless shelters in the area? there is a homeless shelter on that road where his friends mom said she seen him walking, called Esther Stewart Buford

  17. Andrew Begroot says:

I just seen the story about him on TV, I was checking on Google Maps on that road that his friends mother said she seen him walking down on, there are some homeless shelters down that road, I have a feeling that he is just walking around somewhere, homeless, something happen to him to make him forget who he is or how to get home.

  18. Rachel says:

First off Im sure a fingerprint analysis was done to determine Nathaniel was NOT Jarrod. Second something doesnt sit right with me as far as this grandmother goes. I doubt this young man fled and started a new life, your answers lie close to where he was last seen IMO.

  19. Mom for life says:

After all these years he’s either dead or living somewhere not wanting to tell his family as a punishment for whatever reason. But I doubt he’s homeless.

  20. Jacqueline says:

I just saw Jarrod’s story and it has left me heartbroken for Jarrod and his family. I came to this site hoping for an update and news of a reunion. Please know I’m saying prayers for all of you. I can not imagine the pain and I’m so sorry this has happened. Please don’t give up. Sending you all love and prayers.

Just watched Disappeared on Id and can not believe the police had no record, something is not right!!!! My heart goes out to the family and his poor father passed not knowing where his son is…I hope he knows…feeling very sad….

  22. Puerto Rico Island says:

I was watching the report of desaparance transmited in Discovery Channel from Puerto Rico, and i feel very sad. The case really disconcert me, because the cops really dont show interess in the case, and i really want to recomend make a campaign in all the nation, solicitating really attention in this case. I really think that hes alive, something say’s it to me.

  23. ThoughtsforYou says:

I just watched the Disappeared episode. Why was there no police record of this case? Is there a law that requires a minimum time frame for records to be kept that was not mentioned on the show?

I also hope the family was able to get the name of the person on the declined credit card or at least DNA testing on the man in a coma. Has anyone looked into finding his guitar (if they know the serial #) in a pawn shop or guitar store? I hope there will be an update on this episode that has a positive outcome.
