Details of Disappearance
Mortier was last seen at MATC by a professor and a friend on November 8, 2004. After some missed engagements, friends found his house at 5078 Lacy Road empty, but with the stereo on and some outside doors open. Mortier’s dog, Gnosis, was also missing. Both of his cars were in the driveway, and his backpack was in one of them. Police found the dog shortly thereafter. A neighbor had found the husky mix and had taken it in earlier, but didn’t know whose it was.
