Details of Disappearance
On October 24, 2005 at 8:50 a.m., the Ocilla Police Department responded to a missing person report made by neighbors and coworkers at the Irwin County High School. They were concerned because Tara Grinstead did not show up for work and they were unable to make contact with her.
The last known contact was on October 22, 2005 at approximately 11:00 p.m. There is no known description of her clothing. Her car was parked in the driveway of her residence, and her clothes from the 22nd and her cell phone were in the house. Her house was locked and the only items that appear to be missing are her purse and keys. Family members say that Tara never left without her cell phone.

There have been numerous searches conducted by various local, state, and federal agencies. The GBI has interviewed a number of people and is reviewing the evidence they have.

    Re: Tara Grinstead

Could the glove just be a glove to confuse or throw officials off track?
What about the boyfriend who “broke up with her”? For that matter, what about the “married man”? What about the married man’s “wife”? Sure wish this case was solved.

I agree with Angela, too many unanswered questions. they should also look into the pagent part of it as well. Maybe someone who knew her from watching her or another contestant. Someone who was jealous of her success in life and wanted revenge? Someone close to her that she trusted or a complete stranger but after watching the Disappeared show on this case it seemed to me that it may have been a jealously, revenge thing. I dont think she just left, she was taken and they dont know what her house looked like before that night so how can they say that nothing look disturbed?? I hope the police have questioned her vlose friends as well. Including the one in the interview on the show…..
